That’s what business owners along M-59/Hall Road Corridor (The 5ive 9ine) in Macomb County, Michigan were asking. They requested business leaders Richard Ives and John Carlo to organize a unified business district … create a collaborative marketing voice … initiate a focused effort to improve economic growth and visual character along their corridor.

From this grassroots effort we developed The 5ive 9ine Business Association with 501(c)(6) status.

Our Goal?

To unite under one strong business district and a branded identity:

• 6 communities
• 12 miles
• 1,100 businesses
• And $1 billion in investments

and create The 5ive 9ine.

Our Success Already Shows
